the White Throated sparrow is , to me, one of the more handsome american sparrows. He isnt one to come out in the open often, and you have to be looking for him, but when he is here, Im a happy photographer!

I live in the great state of Oregon. We have mountains and oceans and all sorts of open spaces. I learned the love of photography from my dad, who free-lanced for many years. He encouraged me with equipment and comments. I shoot weddings, portraits and what ever I can. I learned to stop shooting for the judges who all wanted sharp focus all the way through, and returned to my love of selective focus. I know the times to have sharp focus and when soft focus is prefered. As the mom and step mom of 8 children, I created an enviromet with ample photographing niches all around.
