About Laura Mountainspring
I live in the great state of Oregon. We have mountains and oceans and all sorts of open spaces. I learned the love of photography from my dad, who free-lanced for many years. He encouraged me with equipment and comments. I shoot weddings, portraits and what ever I can. I learned to stop shooting for the judges who all wanted sharp focus all the way through, and returned to my love of selective focus. I know the times to have sharp focus and when soft focus is prefered. As the mom and step mom of 8 children, I created an enviromet with ample photographing niches all around.
